Better-than-expected non-farm payrolls in the US. US nonfarm payrolls (seasonally adjusted) increased in February above expectations (by 242K; consensus: 190K; previous month: 172K), while manufacturing payrolls dropped more than expected (by -16K; consensus: -1K; previous month: 23K).
