Europe | Governance and fiscal sustainability in the EU
The COVID has been a great challenge, forcing to approve unprecedented measures. In Europe, monetary and fiscal stimuli prevented further economic drop but at the same time public accounts were hit. A clear budgetary plan and a suitable fiscal framework will be crucial to guarantee the sustainability of public finances.

Global | A club where no one freeloads off the climate
Europe has invited the US to work on an agenda for global change on four issues that are becoming increasingly challenging: health, the environment, trade and technology, and political governance. However, the mechanisms for implementing these measures have not been mentioned. Altruism and containing China are not enough.

The 5 Presidents Report: a milestone for enhancing the Euro governance
The European Council today discussed the "Five Presidents Report" on completing Europe’s Economic and Monetary Union. This milestone towards more integrated Eurozone governance builds on the work initiated in 2012 and outlines the roadmap towards a financial, fiscal, economic and political union in two stages. The ultimate goal is to have a genuine EMU in place by 2025.
