What are ECB liquidity injections and how will they affect economic recovery?

    Summary

Jorge Sicilia, chief economist at BBVA Group, analyses the measures implemented by the European Central Bank (ECB) to drive the eurozone economy. The bank headed by Mario Draghi seeks to boost growth and ward off deflationary fears with a liquidity injection of as much as EUR1trn. These actions would have a positive impact of between 0.3% and 0.5% on the eurozone's GDP. (with English subtitles)
