The Long-run Challenges of the Spanish Economy
Since the beginning of the Great Recession in 2008, economic analysis has devoted huge efforts to the design and evaluation of appropriate stabilization policies. More recently the debate has focused on the secular stagnation hypothesis, after a speech by L. Summers (2014), who re-introduced an old term advanced by A. Hansen (1938) after the Great Depression.
