    The ECB sticks to its strategy, unmoved by Italy

    Summary

    There were no changes in the ECB’s monetary policy stance. The key interest rates are expected to remain “at their present levels at least through the summer of 2019”. The end of the APP is on track, and the Italian crisis is not affecting the ECB’s plans. The ECB confirmed that risks for economic outlook remains broadly balanced despite weaker momentum.
