Spain: Trade balance for March 2014
The deficit in the trade balance accumulated to 12 months of March worsens three tenths and stood at -1.8% of GDP. The March figure shows a reduction in the non-energy surplus and a deficit increase linked to the energy, that if continues, could adversely affect the path of correction in the trade deficit observed in recent years. The first quarter of the year ended with a quarterly growth of exports and especially in real imports.
