    Spain | The job creation rate remained stable in April

    Summary

    Social security registrations increased by 186,800 people in April (3.0% YoY) and unemployment fell by 91,500 (-5.2% YoY), in line with expectations. Taking favorable seasonality out of the equation, the number of people in employment grew by 47,000 people, driven by positive developments in the services sector, while unemployment fell by 14,000.
