    Spain | Positive start to the year for employment

    Social Security affiliation fell in January due to negative seasonality (215,000) and unemployment increased (70,700). Excluding this factor, it is estimated that the number of affiliated workers increased by 47,000 and the number of unemployed by 6,000, while temporary employment fell (53.2%).
