Spain | Long series of economic and demographic aggregates: data until 2022
This Working Paper provides a brief description of the latest update of RegData, a database that collects the main economic and demographic aggregates of Spanish regions over the last six decades.

- The series mostly starts in 1950 or 1955 and runs to 2022. In recent years, RegData information matches the latest official series published by the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE).
- These series are linked to previous official series and to other sources in order to obtain a homogeneous linked series that extend back as far as possible.
- They describe variables available in the core module, RegData, and the demographic module, RegData Dem, respectively. The data are attached in two Excel spreadsheets.
- RegData's core module contains data on income, prices, employment and unemployment, and wages. GDP and GVA are included at current and constant prices for 2016 and at average prices for the 1955-2022 period.
