    Spain | Labour market records showed a loss of traction in August

    Summary

    Labour market records showed a worse than expected development in August. BBVA Research estimates show that, after controlling for stationarity, the number of affiliates rose by 15 thousand people while unemploiyment was reduced by 34 thousand. Both numbers imply a slowdown in respect to those registered in the previous month.
