    Spain | Labour market lost dynamism in 3Q18 despite the positive September figure

    Summary

    Social Security registrations increased by 22,900 in Sep-18, more than expected, and unemployment rose by 20,400. However, these figures were insufficient to compensate for the disappointing figures in July and August Excluding seasonality, employment rose 0.6% QoQ in Q318, 0.1 pp less than in the previous quarter, and unemployment fell by 1.2%, 0.4 pp less.
