    Spain | Job creation continued in February in line with expectations

    Summary

    Social security registrations increased by 69,200 (2.9% compared to the end of February 2018), while unemployment practically stagnated (-5.2% compared to one year ago). When not taking seasonality into account, employment increased by 40,000 people and unemployment fell by 13,000; a rate of improvement in the labor market similar to January's figure.
