Spain: higher demand by car rental companies explains the upturn in car registrations during June
Summary
After removing seasonal and calendar effects, BBVA Research´s estimations suggest that car registrations increased in June in line with expectations. Overall, growth in car registrations gathered momentum during 2Q14. This rise, together with the recovery in retail sales point at a another rise in household consumption for the said quarter.
