Spain | GDP rose 0.7% in 1Q18 and maintains its growth rate

The economy maintained a growth of 0.7% QoQ in 1Q18, slightly lower than expected (0.8% QoQ). Contributions from private consumption, investment in construction and exports of services were significant, while exports of goods and investment in machinery offered a negative surprise in a global environment of increasing uncertainty.
