Public Deficit at around 1.0% to the end of February 2014
Summary
Accumulated public debt (excluding local corporations) to February 2014 was posted at around 1.0% of GDP, in line with the figure last year. By governmental bodies, better performance on the part of the central government over the same period in 2013 offset the slightly worse results from the regions and, in particular, the Dept of Social Security.
