Peru | Tracking consumption with real-time data in October 2022

BBVA Research's big data consumption index (inflation-adjusted spending with cards and cash withdrawals) accelerated in October to 7.5% (6.9%: September).

  • Compared to the previous year, the share of spending on entertainment, transport, and restaurants increased, while that of household goods and services, and health care decreased.
