Peru: Central Bank continued easing its monetary policy position

    Summary

In January, the Central Bank’s Board of Directors agreed to reduce the benchmark interest rate by 25 bps, from 3.25% to 3.00%, in line with what most market analysts anticipated, including us. Going forward, no additional reductions are ruled out.
