Mexico | Women in Mexico City reach “high” financial stress indicator.

This note contains some relevant characteristics and results of the recently published National Survey on Financial Health (Ensafi) 2023, carried out to understand all the aspects that can define the state of financial health of adults in Mexico.

• Around 2 in 10 adults in Mexico (20.3%) are (completely and very well) securing their financial future and feel confident (completely and very well) that their savings are sufficient (23.7%).
• Nearly 3 in 10 adults worry a lot about not having enough money for leisure activities (27.3%)
• At the national level, the financial stress indicator is “moderate” at 59.5, and that of women is higher than that of men by 6.5 points, 62.5 and 56.0, respectively.
