Mexico | GDP growth increased in the 2Q15 slightly above than expected, 2.2% annual

Summary

INEGI reported that GDP in the 2Q15 had a QoQ growth of 0.5%, slightly above expectations (BBVAe and consensus: 0.4%), which translates into an 2.2% annual growth. The favorable quarterly growth was made possible by a strong impulse of tertiary activities (0.9% QoQ), as the growth of secondary activities was null (0.0% QoQ) and primary activities was negative (-1.6% QoQ)
