Man on the Moon

At the Chile COP 25 in Madrid, the European Commission presented a set of initiatives through which Europe will stop contributing to the increase of carbon in the atmosphere by 2050 and therefore help mitigate climate change.

• As there is little probability of risk, from a purely a prudent point of view it is realistic that work should start now.
• In a scenario where the population continues to grow and in which increased well-being is also an objective, the challenge is to use energy more efficiently (less intensively) and with a less carbon-rich mix.
• Experimenting with trial and error with the only habitable planet we have is not an option.
