LFS 2Q16 | Unemployment rate falls to 2010 levels, but job creation moderates

Summary

The rise in occupacy between April and June (271 thusand people) was lower than expected, but enough to position unemployment rate at the 20% treshold for the first time in four years. Once corrected for stationarity, a slowdown in job creation of 0.5pp down to 0.3% QoQ is evident.
