    Extremadura Economic Outlook 2020

    Summary

    After growing 1.9% in 2018, the economy of Extremadura could have grown by 1.8% in 2019. It will advance by 1.6% in 2020 and 2021, reducing the unemployment rate to 19.8% in 2021. The average GDP pc annual growth rate will be 2.0%, more than half a point above the Spanish average, with a demographic fall in the region
