Europe Economic Outlook. Second Quarter 2011

    Summary

The global economy continues to support eurozone growth, but domestic demand is becoming increasingly important. Strong increase in commodity prices has resulted in an acceleration of inflation. This has triggered an earlier than expected start of interest rate hikes, but normalization of monetary policy will proceed slowly.
