DiGiX 2022 Update: A Multidimensional Index of Digitization

Summary

DiGiX aims to capture the global evolution of digitization by monitoring this pheonomenon across 99 countries. Our index combines 20 variables grouped in six dimensions that represent three pillars: supply (infrastructure and costs), demand (users, government and enterprise adoption), and institutional environment.

• The five countries that fell the most in the ranking are Luxembourg (-11), Philippines (-8), Georgia, Pakistan and Montenegro, each falling 5 positions compared to DiGiX 2020.
• “Regional leaders” remain unchanged: Denmark, the US, Hong Kong, Chile, United Arab Emirates, Mauritius and Azerbaijan.
