    Summary

    Due to calendar effects, the consumption slows down in the last days. However, the current month is at similar levels to what was registered a year ago, the good recovery of services is maintained. At the regional level, consumption is slowing down in areas with high Covid affectations.

    • Hotel spending recovers 1.5pp compared to October. Entertainment remains the most affected sector with marginal improvements.
    • The percentage of household spending on clothing is slightly higher than before the pandemic.
    • In Bogota, consumption in the first half of November is 2pp better than in October. Spending on clothing is growing while spending on basic goods is decelerating.
