Colombia issues global bonds maturing in 2044 and 2024 with the some of the lowest emission rates ever
The issuance in Colombia was for USD1,000mn in dollar-denominated global bonds, split between 227 investors and with orders that surpassed 7.7 times the amount being offered. The traders’ survey in Chile revealed expectations of the MPR remaining unchanged over the next 12 months. In Mexico the retail sales indicator surprised to the upside, in line with an expected recovery for the second half of the year.
