Colombia Economic Outlook. Fourth Quarter 2015

    Summary

Colombia is coping with the oil shock well and will manage to keep moving ahead at reasonable rates with its improved growth profile. Depreciation and the El Niño weather phenomenon will delay inflation’s convergence within its target band. The central bank is raising its intervention rate and trying to hasten the correction of inflation to within its target range.
