Chile | The central bank signaled less hurry to normalize interest rates

    Summary

The central bank kept the policy rate unchanged at 3.50%, as widely expected by both our view and that of the market. Domestically the Board highlight a lower dynamism in the labor market -reflected in a deceleration of both annual wage growth and job-creation-, while on the external front the communiqué showed higher concerns over recent global market volatility.
