    Chile | Overall, figures of activity data in May remain weak

    Summary

    Manufacturing output decreased by 3.3% YoY driven mainly by metals and foods. Meanwhile, mining output declined by 0.4% YoY and retail sales increased 3.1% YoY above both our and market expectation. All in all, aggregate activity figures anticipate a rate of growth in the Imacec of between 1.3% and 1.6% YoY in May.
