Chile | Imacec grew 2.7% YoY in June above consensus expectation
Summary
Aggregate activity increased 2.7% YoY in June (1.1% MoM sa), in line with our expectation but above those of consensus (at 2.5%). The figure was mainly explained by an improvement in value-added of manufacture and mining. Also, with this print, 2Q15 GDP growth reached an expansion of 1.7% YoY. All in all, we reinforce our newly GDP growth forecast for 2015 at 2.2%.
