    Catalonia Outlook. First quarter 2018

    Summary

The Catalan economy grew 3.0% in 2017 and will slow down to 2.1% in 2018 and 2.0% in 2019. 136,000 new jobs will be created. The exhaustion of impulses to domestic demand and tourism, and uncertainty justifies the slowdown, but the recent evolution of the labor market may allow forecasts to be exceeded.
