    Cantabria Economic Outlook 2016

    Summary

The economy of Cantabria will grow about 2.9% in 2016, but will slow down to 2.2% in 2017, creating around 12,000 new jobs in those two years. Internal demand drives the recovery, supported by tourism, especially foreigners’. Creating more and better employment remains as a challenge.
