Banking deposits: performance improves after a brief pause

    Summary

In July 2014 the nominal annual growth rate of traditional bank deposits (demand + term) was 12.5%. With it traditional deposits recover momentum after posting two consecutive months of cuts in growth (April 12.8%, May 11.9%, 10.1% June). The improvement in this variable’s performance is closely linked to the recovery in economic activity and employment in recent months
