Macarena Bayal is Cross Functions Manager on the Research transformation team.She joined BBVA in 2004 as part of the investment and expense management team in the Technology Finance Department. In 2010 she moved to the Purchasing, real estate and services team, first working on the implementation of the corporate travel tool, and later in financial management of Corporate Real Estate. Since 2013 she assumes the Public Affairs financial management.

Bilingual in French and graduated in Economics with a specialty in Marketing from the University Ceu-Luis Vives, attached to the University of Alcalá de Henares. She has taken several courses in Foreign Trade, Finance, Private Banking, Protocol and Events at the Foundation for Commercial Studies and at the Spanish Diplomatic School.
