Jorge San Vicente Gordo is an Economist in the Spain and Portugal division of BBVA Research, where he contributes on spanish economic situation

Gradueated in Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, he enrolled on Economic analysis specialization, mainly focused in econometrics and data analysis. Afterwards, interest in public sector and data anlaysis took him to enroll in a master degree in Applied Economics at University of Alcalá, focused on data analysis, impact assessment and labour market, adquiring knowledge in Stata and SPSS.

While studying masters degree, he completed an internship at Banco de España, where he worked in Financial Stability Division, related with financial risk indicators and market analysis. He also worked on proyect about Asset Encumbrance in the Spanish Banking System, which was published in Revista de Estabilidad Financiera del Banco de España.

He has deep interest in programming, and is deeply passionate in microdata analysis, statistics and impact assesment.
