Cristhian Larrahondo is an Economist at BBVA Research in Colombia. He is part of the team responsible for the economic, financial and sectoral analysis of the country.

Before joining BBVA Research, Cristhian was an economic consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Colombia, where he contributed to the macroeconomic analysis and monitoring of the country, as well as supporting the research agenda of the CAN region. He also worked at the National Superintendence of Health as a data analyst in the Office of Supervision Methodologies and Risk Analysis. Additionally, he was a research assistant at Universidad EAFIT, Universidad del Valle and Banco de la República.

He is an Economist from Universidad del Valle and holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad EAFIT.
