Spain | Business loans: a matter of demand
Spanish companies have reduced their debt over the past decade, largely due to a contraction in bank credit. The performance of this type of credit has been negatively influenced by demand-side factors, especially weak levels of investment.

Peru | Inflation closed 2024 in the center of the Central Bank's target range
The consumer price index increased 0.11% m/m in December. The month’s result is explained by the seasonal increase in transportation prices, while on the other hand food prices decreased. The year-on-year inflation rate was 2.0% in December (center of the BCRP target range).

Türkiye | Inflation trend improves on food prices
Consumer prices rose by %1.03 m/m in December, lower than consensus and our expectations (both at 1.6%), leading year-end annual inflation to reach 44.4%. We maintain our year-end 2025 inflation forecasts of 26.5% on a more balanced risk outlook.

Spain | December confirmed a positive labor market outlook for 2024
Social Security enrollment increased by 35,500, and unemployment fell by 25,300. After adjusting for seasonality, the number of contributors rose by 37,700, while the number of unemployed dropped by 10,900. 2024 ended with 750,400 more affiliates and 602,400 fewer unemployed.
